04 - Slice the carrot thinly into rounds, then cut small feet and whiskers for each bunny using a paring knife.

07 - Position the carrot feet and whiskers at the front. Serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • This is the kind of food that makes people pause phones come out and actual joy happens at the table
  • Kids who normally turn their noses up at salad will suddenly eat everything on their plates
  • Takes fifteen minutes flat but looks like you spent hours planning something special
02 -
  • Work quickly once you start assembling because the cottage cheese can make the pears soggy if they sit too long
  • Choose pears that are symmetrical and roughly the same size so your bunnies look uniform on the table
03 -
  • Pat everything dry with paper towels before assembling so your lettuce and cottage cheese do not make the plate look watery
  • Room temperature pears are easier to work with than cold ones straight from the fridge
